Director of Engineering Job

Searching for a Director of Engineering with a rubber chemistry background involving rubber bonding agents for heavy industrial progressing cavity pumps for a permanent position in Northeast Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the designs of new and improved product lines for positive displacement pumps, flow divider systems, down-hole drilling equipment and progressive cavity pumps
  • Manager and support the design teams for improved manufacturing and processes
  • Create a technical and engineering vision for the company and plan the implementation of new project development
  • Create budgets, allocate resources and determine schedules of product releases or project deadlines
  • Direct Test Department in pump testing analysis and dynamic test procedures for existing and new product development

Requirements

  • BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or technically related degree
  • 6- 10 years of leadership experience directing design & development of positive displacement pumps, flow divider systems, down-hole drilling equipment, and progressing cavity pumps
  • Manages project engineers, CAD drafters, and test technicians
  • Hire, training work assignments, performance reviews, complaint resolution
  • Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of Design Engineering
  • Rubber chemistry background in engineering and design involving bonding agents
