GMAC Financial Services is a global finance company operating in and servicing North America, South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. GMAC specializes in automotive finance, real estate finance, insurance, commercial finance and online banking. | Job Description |
Purpose and Function of Job:
This individual will be supporting proprietary SAS Marketing Platform in execution of acquisition, retention, cross-sell and relationship management programs, and variety of reporting projects.
Principle Accountabilities:
Independently execute ongoing direct marketing programs including test-cell matrix creation, implementing scoring of prospect and customer files and list pulls for direct marketing vendors. These marketing programs are delivered across all customer-facing channels including Direct Mail, eCommerce, call centers, agents/brokers/dealers and partnership programs.
Help Business Planning & Analysis teams in the design, execution, and analysis of customer segmentation, audience selection, and testing strategies as well as adhering to campaign selection and reporting processes.
Support and improve reporting systems for ongoing evaluation and refinement of marketing campaigns
Provide adhoc reports and data pulls as required
Provide data expertise for the GMAC Global Marketing Organization |

| Job Requirements |
Required qualifications:
Direct/Database marketing experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Knowledge of SAS Programming expertise. SAS Institute Certification is highly desired.
Experience accessing, compiling and analyzing large volume data into concise and precise information utilizing SAS/SPDS and SQL Server database programming.
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineer.
Strong organizational skills and adherence to development methodologies
Excellent analytical skills
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in marketing and financial services industry.
Hands-on experience with multiple campaign management packaged software; Unica, Alterian, Data Mentors or other.
Excel programming and Microsoft Access skills including queries, forms, reports and macros.
Working knowledge of Cognos programming
Job Location in order of preference (high to low) : Ft. Washington, PA, Charlotte, NC, Some overnight travel (~10%) will be required |
