  • Lead Operations organization to ensure product design, cost, quality, and internal and external customer supply objectives are met and exceeded.
  • Develop the Operations organization team through goal setting, accountability, performance review and development, and organizational design and development.
  • Lead the Operations organization in its Journey to EHS Excellence.
  • Establish, pursue and achieve a strategic direction and Manufacturing objectives for kaolin business unit which compliments and supports the Middle Georgia strategic vision.
  • Lead the continuous improvement activities of the Operations organization, foster innovation, and facilitate and embrace change that drives improvement.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Engineering or Technical Management, and 10+ years of manufacturing experience is required. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience, with 5 years of supervision in a union environment.
  • Demonstrated strong competencies must include: personal and team leadership, business and financial acumen, communication, strategic and analytical thinking, and customer focus.
  • Knowledge or experience in the manufacturing of kaolin is preferred.
