    Title: Field Support Technician
    Location: San Diego, CA - 92128
    Duration: 3 months - CTH
    Pay Rate: $60 per hour
    Shift: 1st shift
    Workweek: 9/80

    Job Description:

    The Joint Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Electronic Warfare (JCREW) 3.3 program is looking for a highly motivated field support technician.

    Job Requirements:

    1. Under general supervision, performs principal duties listed under General Responsibilities.
    2. Works with engineers to understand necessary testing requirements or specifications.
    3. Performs moderately complex test preparation, monitoring and disassembly with minimal supervision.
    4. Operates most testing equipment.
    5. Supports system installation at military field test locations.
    Physical Requirements:
    6. Must be able to lift 35 pounds
    7. Must be capable of rack & stack test equipment into six foot tall equipment cabinets
    Marginal Responsibilities:
    8. Performs additional duties as requested.
    9. In test programs, operates equipment and data reduction computers. Assists test director with set-up and control of test activities.
    10. Develops and maintains maintenance schedules and records.
    Education and Experience:
    11. High School diploma and four years of related education and/or experience. Security Clearance:
    12. Current DoD Secret.
    13. 5-10 years of experience in military system installation, training and support for various communication radios, RF systems, and other Signal Jamming systems.

    Preferred Requirements:

    1. Experience with Tactical and/or Strategic Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and several years of field experience to perform system installation and maintenance is preferred.

    2. At least two years of military training is desirable.
