Job Summary:
The VP of Commercial Banking at WSFS Bank directly manages and develops the most complex customer relationships within the Select Markets Department with a total customer portfolio contribution (combining the portfolios of the team leader with all direct report Relationship/Portfolio Managers) of at least $2 million annually. Responsible for the sales activities and interactions of a team consisting of Portfolio Administrators and Relationship/Portfolio Managers located in multiple loan production offices in different geographic markets within the region having a high concentration of Asian-American small businesses. Additionally, is responsible to provide training and development as needed for all direct reports through coaching and mentoring of less experienced team members. Maintains ultimate control over the customer relationships assigned to the entire team, and is accountable for growing the entire portfolio's dollar contribution while optimizing profitability.
The schedule is a 40 hour work week M-F 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. The salary in this position is $78,100-$100,378.
Minimum Qualifications: - The incumbent must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business related field.
- He/she must have 7+ years experience in developing new and managing existing commercial customer relationships within the Southeastern Pennsylvania and State of Delaware markets.
- The incumbent must have excellent bi-lingual written and oral skills in English and Korean that will allow for effective communication among bank Associates and Asian customers and centers of influence.
- The individual must have demonstrated effective sales skills and problem-solving ability.
- Must successfully complete commercial loan training, consisting of financial statement analysis, loan structuring, needs identification, as well as sells and service training.
- Must have strong knowledge of commercial and consumer loan and deposit products, as well as basic knowledge of other financial services typically utilized by more sophisticated commercial clients.
- The individual must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

The physical demands described below must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Incumbent will be required to stand for intermittent periods of time.
- Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
- The incumbent will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, push items over head, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The incumbent will also be required to talk, hear, and see.
- This position requires regular lifting and moving of up to 10 lbs.
