Description Location Fort Wainwright, AKCompany DSS - Doyon Security Services Reports To Deputy Director of Operations Starting Pay DOE Type of Position Regular Full-Time FLSA Status Exempt Hours Vary Schedule Varies JOB SUMMARY: Doyon Security Services (DSS) Chief of Guards is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the task order and shall act as the central point of contact with the Government. The COG is responsible for exercising leadership, maintaining high morale, directing and inspecting the performance of security personnel assigned to their site.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: -Manage a complex security operation-Supervise and manage all personnel required to perform the security guard services at the ACP's-Responsible for the operational functions and duties required in the performance of this contract-Responsible for the overall management of the task order for the individual contract-Manage the training of all newly hired officers & re-certification of all incumbents.-Other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:-Speak, read, write and understand English -Pass the medical and physical testing requirements-Have/ obtain Secret Security ClearanceQUALIFICATIONS:-Must be US citizen -21 years of age -Valid state driver's license -Minimum of 5 year administrative and supervisory experience required -Prior experience in US Army installations preferred.-Must be able to manage complex/large-scale security operations in multiple locations with 7 years past experience-Must meet all requirements of the Army IRP (AR 190-56)-Law Enforcement or Military experience (preferred)-Government contract knowledge (preferred)** Relocation fees not available.
