General Manager - Housekeeping - Greater Philadelphia area

As a General Manager of the Environmental Services Department, you will be responsible for the housekeeping and linen distribution operations within a multi -unit hospital system located in the Greater Philadelphia area. You will be responsible for the supervision in the completion of all housekeeping and linen distribution operations and any other Environmental Services operations. You will have responsibility for staffing, scheduling, training and developing a management and  hourly staff in addition to handling customer and client requests as they pertain to your department.



Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree (and/or requisite industry & management experience) as well as the ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services.  Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications required. Healthcare experience required, contract managed services experience desirable. Must have at least 5 to 10 years experience in the Environmental Services Management field within a healthcare environment.
