About UsRole Summary/PurposeEssential Responsibilities� Responsible for the oversight and management of the Judgmental Underwriting function. Process manages two distinct business lines i.e. Consumer and Commercial, and is performed in three key locations: Alpharetta GA, Toronto Canada, and Hyderabad India.
� Responsible for ongoing communication with both external Clients and GE Client teams. Communication ranges from reporting results to assisting with Client escalations and initiatives.
� Drive key projects and initiatives aimed at transforming the Judgmental Underwriting operation. Initiatives include productivity enhancements, risk mitigation, revenue generation and employee satisfaction.
� Responsible for developing and owning reporting and analytics rigor to drive improved performance within the business.
� Responsible for Disaster Recovery Process and New Client introduction for system, telephony, and reporting alignment.
� Manage the resources responsible for Daily Split monitoring, Agent Management, forecasting, ensuring phone Critical To Quality's and performance.
� Develop, manage and own daily phone level productivity reporting for the enterprise. Automate existing monthly performance rating reports.
� Engage senior level management at both existing and potential Clients teams to ensure that the value of the JU is understood. Ensure the JU team is properly aligned with each Client teams� goals.
� Work with PRM's to optimize JU routing strategies. Ensure that each client team is effectively leveraging the resources they utilize.
� Manage the enhancements to existing tools (i.e. EDGE/Genasys). Interface with Equifax or other vendors to manage the enhancement process.
� Responsible for the architecture and workflow of daily dashboard reporting. Own the timing and accuracy of the reports. Reports should be reflective of business priorities across the enterprise. Manage each reporting and analytics resource overseas.
� Drive process and productivity improvements.
� Ensure all underwriting policies are followed.
� Communicate and engage effectively across business and functions.
Qualifications/Requirements� Demonstrated solid leadership skills with internal and external customers.
� Strong influencing and coaching skills.
� Minimum 7 years of Commercial or Consumer financial analysis experience.
� Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks/projects.
� Clear, concise and effective verbal and written communication skills.
� Proven decision making and problem solving skills.
� Proven experience in credit & underwriting including: decision making, credit line assignment & investigation techniques.
� Knowledge of consumer risk systems, credit scoring systems, consumer and commercial credit bureaus.
� Demonstrated ability to develop & maintain client relationships.
� Proven ability to successfully interact with all levels of an organization.
� Ability to self motivate with little supervision.
� Good working knowledge of Windows-based PC applications.
