Description Job Details:

Provides direct and indirect care for patients presenting to Labor & Delivery. Applies the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating care rendered. Care provided will address physical, psychosocial, rehabilitative, and discharge needs of the patient and his/her family. Guides and supervises assigned nursing personnel, collaborates with other health care professionals and coordinates ancillary staff. Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. High risk obstetric course required within 12 months. Clinical nursing experience within the past 5 years preferred. Licensure: Current Tennessee RN, APN, or APN-Pres license or Compact State License required. BLS Healthcare Provider required. NRP required.
At least 1 year of L&D experience required.
