Business Activation Representative - Tulsa, Oklahoma

Avis Budget Group operates two of the most recognized brands in the global vehicle rental industry through Avis Rent A Car System, LLC (Avis), Budget Rent A Car System, Inc., and Budget Truck Rental (Budget).  We are currently seeking a Business Activation Representative to join our team based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
 
Job Summary
 
Assists the Sales organization in on-boarding newly signed contractual accounts.  Provides customer relationship support and sales development through inbound and outbound calls focused on establishing renter profiles, presenting available alternatives and vertical features as well as offering additional sales opportunities.   Generates increased revenue by contacting and working with existing contract accounts that are not achieving the contracted revenue pace.
 
Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment. 
  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drives the implementation stage of the sales process for new accounts; conducting and selling through the implementation activities for new accounts, allowing the account manager to continue to build the customer relationship and move on to additional selling activities.
  • Educates customers on contractual program alternatives, features, and benefits.  Establishes account profiles, rental profiles, bridge pages for future rentals, and billing accounts.   Presents additional features and suggests additional sales opportunities.
  • Presents billing options to customers and assists in implementation of billing set-up and coordinates with internal resources to facilitate the process of establishing new customer accounts.
  • Works with existing contract accounts that are not achieving the contracted revenue pace.   Helps identify root cause and offer solutions with a focus on fostering on-going customer relationships and increasing revenue.
  • Reports revenue results by account and provides status updates when needed.
  • Coordinates conference calls with key customer contacts and internal support teams (Sales and Account Services).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Customer Service or related function. 

  • Preferred candidate will have college coursework and car rental experience.
