Superintendent Job

Responsibilities

• This position entails managing Mechanical Projects at the field level including the managing of field personnel on these projects
• Scheduling of manpower/equipment/materials to complete projects in a safe and efficient manner
• You will have to do project preplanning of each job to assure all safety related hazards have been evaluated and proper measures have been taken to remove or minimize these hazards
• Will conduct project pre-planning which will also include reviewing estimates and proposals before the project starts and to track and report any changes to management
• Maintain 100% customer satisfaction

Requirements

• 7 to 10 years experience in the industrial mechanical contracting field
• Supervisory experience is a must
• Ability to read and understand PI&D and Mechanical piping drawings and plans
• Proven experience delivering projects on time and on or under budget
• Experience with daily log book project tracking and ensuring daily safety green cards are filled out properly
• Computer experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word, Microsoft Outlook & Microsoft Project is a plus as well as any other training in safety, OSHA, rigging, etc
