University of Colorado HospitalDevelopment Office Campaign AssistantSummary:  The University of Colorado Hospital’s Development Office is seeking a Campaign Assistant to work on the $20 Million Capital Campaign to expand the Cancer Center as well as day-to-day functions of the Development office.  This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in fundraising and on a capital campaign.  Essential Functions:Capital Campaign:?Prospect Research?Campaign Communications?Assist with Foundation and Donor ProposalsFundraising and Development:?Prospect Research?Assist with Donor Relations?Assist with Foundation Grant Proposals?Gain Experience with Donor Database?Internal Distribution of posters, brochures, t-shirts, etc.Events:?Assist with Donor Cultivation Events?Work on annual “Gala” – Hearts of All Ages?Helping to coordinate 3rd Party Fundraising EventsAdministrative:?Data entry?Creating and running donor reports?Creating, typing, proofreading and editing documents?Outlook, scheduling meetings, etc.?Meeting preparation and follow up?Writing letters, memos ?Agendas and minutes?Assisting with presentation creationQualifications:Minimum 3-5 years administrative experience.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong letter writing, proofreading, communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and database management preferred.  Strong research, scheduling and planning skills, self starter, and knowledge of grant writing process a plus.Hours & Compensation:  This is a paid flex position.  Hours will 32 per week, Monday thru Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends for special events.
