Job Description
Job Purpose
Support and promote the sale of Jackson's annuities, life insurance, separately managed accounts and mutual funds through advanced retirement and wealth planning strategies.  Act as a consultant and liaison to the sales force, and a business partner to their agents, by communicating, identifying, and helping to close advanced sales opportunities.
 
 
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Communicate retirement and wealth strategies concepts to wholesalers and representatives over the phone and in person.
  • Respond to, follow up on, and make outbound calls to support sales.
  • Conduct retirement and wealth strategies presentations on advanced sales concepts.
  • Generate specific case illustrations for wholesalers and representatives in their territory.
  • Develop and manage a business plan to enhance sales in assigned territory.
  • Develop retirement and wealth strategies presentations, marketing materials, and white papers.
  • Draft summaries, articles, and presentations that address product, industry, and regulatory issues.
  • Conduct research and stay abreast of industry and regulatory changes to support consulting activities and the development of marketing materials.
  • Conduct continuing education programs.
  • Provide training to Sales Desk employees, external wholesalers and other associates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 
Job Requirements

  • Expertise in annuities, life insurance, and mutual fund sales strategies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated experience in public speaking.

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a collegial environment.
  • Travel required.
 
Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years experience in financial services sales or consultation.
 
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Required
  • Series 6 and 63; minimum
  • One or more of the following: JD, CFP, ChFC, CLU, CPA
