JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide logistics subject matter expert (SME) capabilities supporting 850ELSG/NS engineering and integration, and activities associated with system acquisition, life cycle management and sustainment.

Support Government efforts with integrated support to operational/technical requirements and scheduled deliveries. Logistics SME capabilities required encompass the full range of logistics processes and functions, to include technology development sustainment, engineering and integrated system design supportability, production and deployment supportability, operations and support; as well as capability to provide technical reviews for supportability & analysis, product support strategy development & evaluation, and system performance specification, product support in the life cycle management plan, technical order management, logistics documentation for milestones, Configuration Control Boards, and Program Executive Office (PEO) reporting; and analysis of test to assess supportability.

Must have a secret clearance.

This position is a Jacobs Team position and may be assigned to a teammate company (Oberon or P3I).

Travel up to 1 week a month may be required. 

Requirements

BS degree and 10 years of experience/ MS and 8 years of experience; PhD and 4 years of experience

Excellent team building, communication, writing, speaking, briefing, leadership/management skills. Extensive DOD experience. Strong logistics/subject matter expert background/experience in acquiring DOD systems. Ability to write and review the full spectrum of logistics documents. In depth experience will the full range of DOD logistics process, procedures, and documentation.
