Job Details:  
  • High School, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 to 2 years related experience
  • Under the Agency's policies and professional requirements: Provides direct support and care (personal assistance, transportation, and ILS skills training); Coordinates client referrals, tasks involved in serving the consumers; Works with RBHA Clinical Teams, Administrative staff, Treatment Program Manager, and Director;  Co-leads recovery-wellness groups; Participates in program evaluation procedures and professional record keeping;  Works under the direct supervision of the Recovery Coach Supervisor.  The Recovery Coach draws upon personal experiences as a Mental Health Consumer/Family member to perform the work with consumers who are currently in treatment.  

  •         High School Diploma or GED preferred

     

  •         Bilingual preferred (testing may be required)

     

  •         Fingerprint clearance must be maintained.

     

  •         Trained as Peer Support Worker (certificate required)

     

  •         Must be a consumer or family member of a consumer who has or is receiving services from the public behavioral health system.

     

  •         Qualifying driving record.  Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.

     

  •         Customer service skills, especially good communication skills are needed.

     

  •         Ability to work independently, with flexibility, and within prescribed deadlines.

     

  •         Basic computer skills.

     

  •         TERROS is a drug free workplace.
