Senior Compliance Analyst

Job Description

Position is responsible for developing, maintaining and reporting risk assessment analytics related to Community Support, CRA, Fair Lending and HMDA risk assessment analytics; and assisting Compliance team with assessing, monitoring and reporting regulatory performance for the Bank’s business units.
- Assist in implementation, support and utilization of Community Development and support, CRA, HMDA and Fair Lending Risk Analysis software
- Collect, maintain, analyze and report performance data
- Identify and resolve data integrity issues with responsible business units
- Prepare and submit required regulatory submissions
- Maintain expert knowledge of current and developing required regulatory data reporting issues
- Research laws and regulations, stays current with new or changed laws and regulations and assists with implementing new regulatory requirements
- Assists with Community Development, Support and CRA, HMDA and Fair Lending compliance initiatives
- Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assist in development and delivery of Community Support, CRA, HMDA and Fair Lending compliance training
- Support manager and compliance team in internal audit and regulatory examinations
- Update and maintain departmental monitoring and reporting mechanisms
- Provide custom and Ad hoc reporting upon request 

 

Job Requirements


Minimum Professional and Technical Skills required include, but are not limited to:
- Minimum of two years experience in the banking or mortgage industry;
- Minimum of two years experience with data entry and/or data analysis;
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory laws, procedures and best practices;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under management supervision;
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communications and presentation skills;
- Be results oriented and work with minimum supervision; and 
- Familiarity with spreadsheet, database and/or risk analysis software.


Minimum Education, Certification, Training required includes, but is not limited to:
- Completed College coursework or equivalent industry education;
- Banking or Compliance training preferred; and
- Recent compliance conferences, seminars, or similar training.
