Support Finance Directors in preparing and managing business plans and forecasting. Prepare both routine and ad-hoc financial analyses and reports. Provide actionable information to decision makers. Analyze business performance and identify areas for improvement. Uphold ethical standards. Build trust and relationships.
REQUIREMENTS OR QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION
1. Strong financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and preparing and administering budgets
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of management
3. General knowledge of accounting (journals, P&L�s, Balance Sheets, retail method of accounting)
4. Knowledge of merchandise, operations as it relates to retail businesses
5. Progressive financial advancement with increasing levels of responsibility inside and outside of Finance
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
1. OLAP (essbase) and working knowledge of decision support and accounting systems
2. Advanced degrees or certifications
3. Analytical skills
4. Ability to adapt in high pressure, fast moving environment
5. Ability to manage up and influence Financial mindset around ROI and other Financial expressions
