A well-established heating company with offices in Anchorage is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team.

The Bookkeeper should be prepared for heavy data entry of service reports to the tune of 100+ generated per week. Other responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Collections
• Cash Receipts
• Customer Billing
• Month End Closings
• Expense Reports
• Dispatch Back Up

This position requires a sharp attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Candidates must have several years of demonstrated experience in the above mentioned duties and extremely strong bookkeeping skills (a 46 question credit/debit test will be administered). Good computer aptitude is a must as the company utilizes industry-specific software that is not very user-friendly. A degree is a plus but is not necessary. Applicants must also be able to travel to Pittsburgh for one week of training.

The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The salary is $45-50K per year commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 25 PTO per year, profit sharing and a pension plan.
