Description A Networking Technical Sales Representative (NTSR) is a pre-sales quota carrying technical salesperson focused on driving the sale of Dell OEM networking (networking applies to Ethernet, FC, and Converged Fabric ) equipment and advanced OEM management software (V/OE).  This person will work with existing account teams to identify opportunities, then architect, position, and close networking and advanced management solutions.  The NTSR will be the primary contact for quoting and validating complex networking solutions.
Requirements
  • The NTSR will have an intimate working knowledge on how to size, scope and position network and advanced datacenter management solutions.
  •  The NTSR will possess a competitive knowledge of the networking and management industry and must be able to articulate how the Dell solutions are differentiated from the leading networking/server competitors. The NSS will also be required to position how these differences will impact the customer's operational environment.
  • The NTSR will use their advanced technical knowledge to drive sales while insuring customer satisfaction through proper expectation management. 
  • The NTSR will have extensive knowledge of how to propose, quote and validate Dell OEM networking solutions.
  •  As an integral part of the account team, the NTSR will leverage their superior knowledge around networking and advanced management solutions to assist the TSR organization to propose, quote and validate Dell solutions (to include Server, Storage and Networking).
  • The NTSR working in combination with the Networking Specialist team will act as the technology champion for networking and advanced management solutions within their respective teams.
  • The NTSR should have 7-10 years outside pre-sales experience AND 3-5 years of experience focused on networking solutions and/or complex enterprise solutions.
  • Candidate must be able to work effectively, independently, and with existing sales teams.
  • Candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong written and oral communications skills, exemplary selling skills, and good time management skills.
  • A college degree is preferred as well as some level of networking products and Dell-Branded Hardware products.
  • The NTSR must be a self-starter and always seek opportunities to advance sales and industry presence for Dell.
