Position Description: 
Position is responsible for building new CareTracker clients and enrolling them with insurance companies with which the client participates. An Enrollment Coordinator partners with the customer throughout the implementation process to expedite required information, gather and review missing information with the customer. They also identify any additional value added services that are required for a successful implementation. Enrollment Coordinators must keep management apprised of all critical situations and their status for all assigned accounts and provide information regarding significant developments and product requirements.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing new client Implementation packets and identifying missing materials
  • Working with clients to obtain required data
  • Building new clients in CareTracker
  • Preparing required enrollment paperwork (EDI)
  • Completing billing sections of enrollment paperwork insurance companies require from our clients
  • Being familiar with the credentialing process with each of the major payors we deal with
  • Verifying all new clients have sent claims to all major insurance companies and have received payments from these insurance companies
  • Setting clients up clients for additional services, e.g. SureScripts, lab interfaces and TeleVox
  • Updating and maintaining grids used to track the status of new clients
  • Being knowledgeable of major insurance companies' basic enrollment requirements and required provider/group data
  • Imperative that all LighthouseMD and HIPAA compliance guidelines are followed and all questions and concerns are directed to the Compliance Officer or company President

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • 3 years - Enrollment and/or credentialing experience
  • 3 years - Demonstrated experience interacting with both internal/externals customers
  • 2 years - Knowledge or familiarity with medical terminology
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience, strongly preferred
