The Process Engineer is home-based and concentrates on optimizing the performance of production equipment, with specific focus on our wheel blow molding machines. as well as recommending technical support and providing field support for plants as needed.
Work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision while optimizing the production equipment performance.
Have a strong sense of self-motivation which you can use to help CCC achieve its core value of "Excellence in All We Do".
Put your knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes to use on a daily basis in order to ensure the proper functioning of machines and the operating processes involved in your plant.
Research high volumes of information about plastic manufacturing processes in a short period of time and be able to apply the knowledge you gained to a variety of situations.
Understand that asking for help can sometimes be a good way to gain information and a fresh, creative perspective on your projects.
Use your knowledge of manufacturing processes to recommend and provide support to plants as it relates to process engineering.
Set up and run the blow molding machines used at CCC, with specific focus on Wheel machines Recommend mold modifications to achieve specifications for given bottles and be able to set up and modify process as it relates to the specifications for the bottle.
Make recommendations and develop the Die Head tooling design.
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 3 plus years' processing experience with BLOW MOLDING Machines.
Must be willing to travel 80-100%.
Solid understanding of various types of resins.
Able to establish processes without assistance
Make recommendations when mold modifications are needed
Able to improve or make recommendations on existing products to improve e-rating and first pass yield
Preferred Skills/Attributes
Knowledge of WHEEL BLOW MOLDING MACHINES
Able to work under minimal supervision
