Job Description

  •   Monitors quality assurance of all patient accounts pertaining to registration.  Educates and trains Admitting staff members on correct procedures.  Provides departmental orientation and training of new hires.  Monitors POS collections daily and systematically logs all potential cash.  Provides financial counseling to patients, including informing and interpreting hospital policies regarding payment of bills.  Daily review of POS collections and systematically logs potential co-pays, and collects co-pays/deductibles.  Initiates follow-up calls with insurance companies to acquire authorizations. 

Job Requirements

Regulatory Requirements:
  •                     High School Graduate or equivalent.
  •                     Requires 3-5 years prior registration experience.
     
    Language Skills:
  •                     Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  •                     Additional languages preferred.
    Skills:
  •                     Basic computer knowledge, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
