Reporting to the Manager Analytical Services, R & D, this Group Leader will work with a talented team focused on the advanced imaging & measurement functions in skin research. The high visibility laboratory that this person will lead, functions to support new technology and product development, primarily focused on our skin care business. This individual will lead the team involved in exploring the next generation of tests, methods and models to screen ingredients and review technologies. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to… - Motivate and guide a staff devoted to cutting edge skin research
- Develop strategic and tactical plans to deliver new in-vivo models and methods supporting product concepts and claims
- Guide clinical efforts to support in-vivo screening of new ingredients and prototype formulas in support of new product development
- Provide and present data in support of our products, via scientific meetings and lab tours
The accomplished individual will possess… - Five to eight years supervisory/leadership experience
- Expertise with skin/tissue structure and function, imaging and bioinstrumentation,
- Experience in clinical experimentation
- Customer focused mindset demonstrating support for product development
- Project management skills
- Superior communication and relationship skills
- Passion for skin research
- Experience in a consumer products setting
The strong professional will have the following academic credentials…. - MS or PhD with applied biological training (science or engineering)
