AT&T Interactive currently has an opportunity for a Director of Industry Insights and Analyst Programs in our Glendale or San Francisco, CA offices. This individual will have overall accountability for managing AT&T Interactive’s relationship with third party industry metrics providers and other research providers; developing programs and content targeted at industry analysts; and analyzing, interpreting, and communicating key benchmarks of interest. This position reports to the VP of Industry Marketing and will be focused day-to-day on driving external relationships as well as analyzing and anticipating key trends.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish relationships with leading third party metric providers and researchers, ensuring accurate representation of measurement data used to benchmark AT&T Interactive, its products and the online and mobile advertising ecosystems
- Monitor industry activity and communicate market insights relating to industry dynamics and competitive ecosystem across the business
- Interpret results and identify trends, communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external audiences
- Direct and create quantitative and qualitative analysis and content for external analysts and researchers to help articulate AT&T Interactive’s position within our key industry segments
- Drive development of standard ongoing set of external metrics and ensure accurate representation throughout all internal and external communications vehicles; provide leadership in ensuring consistency in definition and use of terminology and addressing stakeholder
Support AT&T Interactive in maintaining a leadership role within the industry by anticipating issues and opportunities associated with new digital advertising technologies and driving resolution of potential issues Create measurement roadmap incorporating anticipated new feature/product releases Stay abreast of industry trends, opportunities and best practices Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college / university required. MBA strongly preferred
- 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in marketing analytics or related area
- Proven analytics skills and demonstrated ability to communicate complex insights effectively to a broad spectrum of audiences
- Comprehensive knowledge of marketing benchmarks and the online and mobile metrics reporting/research industry
- Knowledge of online and mobile advertising ecosystem required
- Proven track record in managing and nurturing strategic external relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation development and delivery
- Internet / Interactive industry experience required
- Management and cross functional team leadership experience preferred
- Ability to meet extreme deadlines under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong project management skills
