Essential Responsibilities-Development and implementation of ongoing enhancements of the Fair Lending strategy and program.
-Design and perform Fair Lending risk assessments and identify Fair Lending risks associated within account life cycle--including originations/servicing arrangements; support and participate in Fair Lending focused Third party periodic reviews (HI – Green Tree Servicing).
-Act as primary liaison with contracted vendor to ensure GEMB Fair Lending analyses are consistent with regulatory requirements and that tool functionality is fully utilized.
-Prepare quarterly and annual GEMB Fair Lending Analysis and Reports within 30 days of each quarter end for Sr. Management review. Together with GEMB CCO and General Counsel, provide Fair Lending compliance guidance to business leaders and support the respective compliance teams with process owner interactions. Establish on-going process to benchmark GEMB HMDA/Fair Lending data with similarly situated financial institutions.
-Assist in the development of internal/external Fair Lending communications and training materials to educate Sr. Management regarding Fair Lending requirements.
-Support GEMB CCO with the HMDA/Fair Lending compliance examination process including any requested communication with regulators.
-Support expansion of Fair Lending external focus, e.g. regulators, advocacy groups, litigation, to identify unanticipated risks requiring analysis and proactive remediation.
-Provide bank-related support and assume responsibility for special projects, gather data and prepare reports for Senior Management, audits/exams and other personnel as required.
