Adecco Engineering & Technical has an immediate need for a Support Expeditor to work with us on a client site on the east side of Houston, TX to perform the following:
This position performs a wide and versatile scope of responsibilities within the Materials Expediting Department. It requires an individual with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Inventory Control experience, and also requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
Can take a project plan and drive it in the organization. Work with Field Technician, Engineering and Order Processing to Identify Parts, reduce costly assembly purchase and ID Hot Parts Issues and work them to closure. Required: Excel, word oriented, can focus on critical tasks and ignore noise. Solid Negotiation skills required.
Parts related experience and knowledge of parts business.
Identify suppliers and prepare packages of parts that can be used in assembly mfg. Maintain Excel list of all parts packages by part # for audit use.
Must have 3-5 years experience in Materials expediting, and strong customer service skill.
Skills Requirement: Required experience with Excel and validating computer generated data..
