POSITION SUMMARY
Strong Knowledge of Cryptographic systems and methodologies.
Senior Engineer level of knowledge of Key Management system.
Extensive knowledge of Identity access Management systems
Key management System and Encryption Technology expertise in Application Engineering and Integration,.
Experience in designing secure Key management System controls to Enterprise Applications to comply with current industry standards.
Experience in Integration of Key management systems with existing Security Hardware Modules
Self-managing with the ability to work with a wide array of both technical and non-technical people.
Experience in a large corporation and working on multiple diverse projects at the same time.
Support and implement IT Security technologies, with a subject matter focus on security policy implementation and technical product/vendor evaluation.
Project Management, Audit, Legal, and related experience desirable.
Broad technical knowledge in security features and considerations including all OS platforms and data networking. Knowledge of security features within: UNIX (AIX, Solaris, and Linux), CA-Top Secret, Microsoft Windows/ Active Directory, and LDAP.
Design, deploy and manage security technology in order to control risk to Aetna internal resources in accordance with established corporate security policy. Understand industry threats and the methods to apply appropriate controls.
ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
Work with engineering, I/T technical personnel, and business areas in support of business and IT initiatives for advice on compliance to Aetna Security policies and generally accepted security computing practices.
Provide policy compliance reviews, consulting, and infrastructure for investigative technical support.
Work with the Enterprise engineering teams to design and oversee the Cryptographic Key technology infrastructure. Duties will include the following:
Design, Solutions for Key Manager system s direct Interface with other Aetna areas
Provide Engineering Strategy support for Identity and Encryption Technology integration with existing infrastructure systems to enhance Security posture
Managing vendor relationships
Managing interfaces with other Aetna developed and third party software applications.
Providing Engineering support to Enterprise developers to expand implementation of Cryptographic Key management technology to internally developed applications
Key management Integration briefings for Top level management and Technology presentations for multiple departments.
Active participation in multi-disciplinary Information Privacy Incident Response process.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - - sponsored by International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium is required

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
As a government contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable results following submission of Department of Defense (DoD) form SF85P or higher security. You will be required to submit an application describing the previous seven (7) years of your life and to provide proof of U.S. citizenship in order to work on contracts such as the DoD TRICARE Managed Care Support Contract. This process takes several months to complete.
