Directs and manages a Center with both graduate and undergraduate programs – in coordination with Main Metro Campus Operations. The Center Dean is responsible for the profitability and continuous growth of a Center with an enrollment of approximately 0 - 250 students.
Responsible for all aspects of the Center’s operations. Responsible to attracting, retaining, and motivating qualified Center personnel. Profitably manages the continuous growth of the Center. Responsible for the overall successful operation of the Admissions Office. Implements academic quality of education at the Center to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and University Guidelines, student satisfaction and licensing requirements. Promotes and markets the DeVry University organization and the DVUC and its curricula with its educational advantages to current and prospective students, faculty, and interested constituents. Actively participates in community and professional organizations or employer groups in order to create or enhance broader local recognition of the University; Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

Master’s Degree required, preferably an MBA or other business related discipline. Successful record of leadership in higher education and/or business. At least eight to ten years of relevant experience required; Five years of which must be as a Supervisor/Manager. Three to five years of sales or marketing experience strongly preferred. Some experience with post secondary educational institutions including student recruitment, advertising/marketing, customer service and/or community relations preferred. Strong service orientation required. Demonstrated communication skills required, including the ability to communicate effectively one-on-one, in small groups and in large audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills required; Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels. Ability to analyze complex problems and formulate effective solutions required. Strong project management skills required. Demonstrated computer literacy required, including data base management and functional knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products. Ability to work a non-traditional shift (10 am to 8 pm) at least two evenings per week and every other Saturday as required.
