Job Description

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, manage and maintain public works construction project schedules. Work with project engineers, estimators and cost engineers to develop comprehensive budget, schedule information and support for project managers. General knowledge of the construction process, and experience working with entire construction project team, including desing engineers, architechs, construction managers and contractors. Candidate must be willing to take a proactive approach in supporting the project managers and supporting project controls team. Candidate will review baseline schedules, maintain and manage schedule updates, provide reporting and ongoing analysis, perform integral tasks with the project controls team from baseline schedules through completion including change analysis. Candidate shall have experience with complex work breakdown structures, earned value analysis and cost loading. Experience in creation and maintenance of master program schedules is a plus.
  • This position is responsible for construction scheduling for a water treatment plant and steel frame administration building.
  • Position located on project site in Sacramento.
  • Additional projects may be in the Bay Area.

  • Job Requirements
    Position requirements include, but are not limited to: We are searching for a candidate with 8-10 years of experience in construction scheduling. Primavera version 3 (P3) experience is required, P6 experience is a plus.

  • Minimum years of experience: 8
  • Education required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Education preferred: Master's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Registrations/Certifications preferred: LEED® AP, P.E., CCM, PMP
  • Special considerations, specific technical experience, skills, etc.: Scheduling, and schedule analysis
  • This position does require travel. Travel amount is negligible.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
  • This position does not manage others
