Description:
Volt Technical Resources is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an immediate open position in the Folsom area. Successful candidates will have experience in the Accounts Payable field in the Telecom arena.

As a Telecom Billing Analyst the candidate will support Wide Area Network (WAN) managing carrier invoices for the America's and European regions.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
  • Validating rates to contract to include billing anomaly detection utilizing our Telecom Expense Management (TEM) tool
  • Identifying and logging disputes with vendors
  • Authorize invoices for payment
  • Drive / Track cost savings
  • Monitor add, move, change, disconnect activity
  • Maintain cost saving tracking tool
  • Assists with reporting, budget and monthly close process for the management team

    Requirements:
    Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in telecommunications expense management, carrier billing methods and telecom infrastructure.
  • Minimum of 1 year of A/P principles in support of account reconciliation activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel & Access.

    Professional Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Able to understand and manage to the terms and conditions of carrier contracts

    Experience working with European vendors a plus.

    Candidate will be asked to consent to a pre-employment criminal background screen and drug screen.
