Role Summary : The primary role of the Wealth Management Banker is to provide deposit and credit expertise and advice to affluent clients in support of the Financial Advisor and client relationship. Must demonstrate comprehensive financial planning capabilities through assessing needs, identifying opportunities, and recommending financial solutions. The primary focus of the Wealth Management Banker is to be a team player with multiple virtual teams that includes Financial Advisory Team, Support and Product Partners. The Wealth Management Banker will enable a consistent, high touch client experience that opens to clients the full breadth of banking products and the value of Bank of America. The Wealth Management Banker will focus on product partnership with the goal of educating and coaching a Financial Advisor on the wealth management banking value proposition and effectiveness in offering debt and liquidity solutions. Providing the appropriate banking solution for the wealth management client is a key priority as is driving awareness among Financial Advisors of an enhanced and expanded portfolio of banking solutions to affluent clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrates strong results in the market by drawing on skills/ experiences

  • Collaborates with Financial Advisors to offer clients access to Bank of America's entire breadth of banking debt and liquidity solutions

  • Leverages deposit and credit expertise as well as product knowledge in working with Financial Advisors and clients to determine best products and services for clients

  • Disciplined in knowing and understanding products and services and leveraging that knowledge in formal and informal meeting with Financial Advisors and clients

    Develop strong partnerships and collaborations across the market and region in Americas Banking, Personal Retirement and Direct Investment Division

  • Builds critical partnerships with Financial Advisory Team, Support and Product Partners

  • Seeks and establishes a network of experts across the bank to supplement the expertise available in the market/ region

    Understand the key processes and build a network of contacts within the Financial Advisory Team, Support and Product Partners

    Work Experience Required:

    Five years experience in either banking/credit or investments/securities arenas

    Proven ability to build partnerships and drive results

    Significant experience building relationships with clients

    Consultative skills - the ability to see yourself and your solutions; able to ask critical problems to identify opportunities

    Proven results in delivering deposit and credit products to a wealth management client base

    Understanding of functions/ attributes of a total wealth management approach

    Knowledge of broad banking debt and liquidity solutions in addition to specific product knowledge

    Proven ability to prospect for banking debt and liquidity opportunities - creative thinker who maintains positive outlook

    Knows competitor/ Product Knowledge - understands competitor products/ services and can compare and offer competitive solutions
