Compensation: $70000 to $80000 per year

One of our top clients where we have made numerous successful placements seeking a Web Developer for their e-commerce team. The right candidate will understand the full SDLC including functional and non-functional requirements gathering / validation, analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation. May work individually, as part of a team, or as a team leader in the development and implementation of systems. Will be a key member of development group during design, construction and product transition to technical support teams. Analyzes design trade-offs and proposes alternate system solutions. Collaborate with business analysts, and product development to determine major system enhancements and new functionality. Provide technical guidance and training to fellow IT staff members. Works closely with project manager to determine project scheduling and resource requirements; Meets scheduled deliverables that are defined by the project team. Suggests continuous improvements to existing construction and documentation techniques. Reviews QA plans and procedures to support major project implementations. Initiates project status communications with project managers on a timely basis. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required. 3 + years E_Commerce experience, Object Oriented Design and Object Oriented Programming, Experience with UML, WSDL/SOAP and Service Oriented Architecture, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, 3 + years experience in the following technologies is required: HTML, XML Web Services, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Visual Basic.NET/C#.NET, ADO.NET and Oracle (PL/SQL) or Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL). Proficiency in the following technologies is also desired, but not required: Java, Adobe Flash, AJAX, familiarity with object relational mapping, proficiency in the use of development driven testing techniques, and building and consuming web services.
