External Responsibilities:

Assist in the delivery of various vending equipment from warehouse to customers’ location by use of hand truck or propane/ battery-operated forklift and/or pallet jack.  Assist in the maintenance of various vending equipment.  Work in close harmony with fellow employees to continually maintain a safe, efficient operation.  No personnel report to this position
1.      Load and unload various vending equipment onto company vehicles by hand or by use of a hand truck.
2.      Pad, stack and secure items in position on vehicle to prevent damage during shipping.
3.      Read maps and provide direction to customers’ location.
4.      Deliver and install equipment at customers’ location.
5.      Prepare equipment for shipment to customers by cleaning and washing.
6.      Assist technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
7.      Safely operate a forklift and other assigned equipment and request repair or maintenance to assigned equipment.
8.      Maintain clean and neat warehouse and surrounding area.
9.      Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

External Requirements:

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION
 
  •         High school graduate, or equivalent.
  •         Some experience with operating a forklift.
     
    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
     
  •         Basic math skills.
  •         Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  •         Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
     
    ABILITIES
     
  •         Ability to work effectively with others.
  •         Ability to convey a positive and professional image to all customers and employees.
     
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
     
    This is a physically demanding position with employees working out of the office.  The employee is constantly bending and reaching and must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 40 pounds.  The employee must be able to operate and enter/exit a vehicle.  Moves from within a vehicle to outside then to indoor and occasional into refrigerated areas.  Work environment involves slight physical risks that require following basic safety precautions.  The position requires the use of equipment with relatively simple operating procedures.  Advanced application of manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination is also required.
     
    Experience performing basic machine repairs.
    Must possess a mechanical aptitude.
    Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
    Pay for this position is $11.00 per hour.
