Spec, Clinical Training S2 11
The Sr. Clinical Training Specialist will be responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating a wide range of synchronous and asynchronous training programs to meet the needs of Healthways external and internal customers. Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop training to meet customized needs of various external and internal customers. 2. Deliver training programs and learning experiences to all levels of employees and external customers. 3. Conduct train-the-trainer classes and certify contracted facilitators. 4. Assist with the design, launch and ongoing internal management and leadership training. 5. Facilitate leadership and skills based training. Customize content as needed. 6. Create and support individual development plans for Healthways colleagues. 7. Accountable for developing skill improvement modules that meet a specific training or development need. 8. Accountable to be the training contact/resource for assigned areas of the Training Department. (Humana Active Outlook, Leadership and Development training etc.) 9. Ensure cost effectiveness by selecting products that most appropriately meet the training needs and deliver the most value. 10. Work directly with the Director of Training to ensure training needs are identified and appropriate training is conducted. 11. Travel as required to accomplish the objectives. Application: 1. Impact: The Sr. Clinical Training Specialist is entrusted with training Healthways clients and colleagues. This individual, therefore, has the responsibility of presenting him/herself in a professional manner and communicating clearly and concisely at all times.
1. Previous experience requirements * Minimum of 5 years experience in a professional corporate training function including instructional design and experience conducting presentations and/or training in a corporate setting. * Experience with web-based course management and delivery tools, current instructional theories and principles applicable to web-based instruction. * Demonstrated knowledge of effective adult learning techniques and ability to effectively and enthusiastically deliver training. * Demonstrated skills in project planning, project management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. * Excellent consultative, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. * Strong leadership and exceptional people management skills; ability to communicate and build relationships effectively across all levels in an organization. * Experience with instructional design, course development, facilitation, effective meeting management and planning also required. * Demonstrated ability to create and sustain excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients. * Must be comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Exposure/experience with blended learning solutions preferred. 2. Education & Training * Bachelor's degree in Nursing required * Instructional design, DiSC, DDI certification preferred * Experience with web-based training providers (webex, Centra, Premiere experience preferred) * Health & Wellness Industry knowledge preferred 3. Skills and Strengths * Willing to travel as needed. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, coaching and leadership skills. * Strong planning and organizing skills. * Ability to design and present training material. * Ability to build relationships throughout the organization. * Team player; motivator. * Planning and research ability * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) * Clear and concise writing and speaking skills. * Positive attitude a must.
