Responsibilities for a Fire Sprinkler/Alarm Service & Inspection Sales Representative include:
Sales of Service and Inspection contracts throughout the Fairfield County/Western CT geographic area.
Sell service maintenance and inspection contracts for fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
Manage the process of moving major accounts through the sales process while simultaneously finding and closing short-term business in order to hit targets.
Evaluate potential work sites in order to determine scope of work and estimate job life-cycle.
Accurate and timely forecasting of sales.
Territory planning and business plan development and execution.
Process plans and permits with local authority.
Prepare and forecast profit projections.
- Four year degree, or equivalent, or 4 years related industry experience preferred.
NICET certification a plus
Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and applicable codes.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience selling life safety systems.
Understanding of fire sprinkler design, layout and estimating.
Ability to read and understand building blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
Expertise in Microsoft Office operating systems.
