Candidate must be able to articulate their outside sales experience and be able to demonstrate their ability to prospect / cold call to obtain new opportunities. This position will be focused on attaining new government business including the employees of the government entities within their assigned geographical territory. The candidate must have the ability to work external events and sell 'on site' in a busy environment.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Experience in sales or customer service with business accounts required.
Understanding and knowledge of communications industry and related products & services.
Familiarity with billing systems and order entry systems a plus.
The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Effective use of PC including Microsoft Office required.
Effective negotiation and closing skills required.
Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and proof of insurance.
