Common Data Link (CDL) Ops Analyst - Operations Analyst III

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this challenging position, you will support the Common Data Link (CDL) Program Office at the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance Agency (AFISRA), Lackland AFB, TX. Responsibilities include the collection, verification, and validation of AFISR operational requirements with respect to data flows transported by the CDL RF waveform. You will prepare CDL related AFISRA baselines utilizing DoD Architectural Framework templates, perform platform analysis to include the integration of SIGINT enterprise collection technologies to include CDL/ISR threat analysis, and serve as a member of the AF CDL Requirements Working Group.

In this position, you will maintain and exercise standard DoD systems engineering principles and expertise. Support capability gap analysis and CDL operational and technical demonstrations and exercises such as Bold Quest, JEFX, and/or Empire Challenge. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to work leading edge communications/data technology alongside Air Force Research Labs.

Must have Top Secret clearance.

This position may be assigned to a Jacobs teammate company (P3I or Oberon).

Travel is estimated at approximately 10% annually. 

Requirements

Capabilities-based Planning and JCIDS process knowledge is highly desired. Communications and Tactical Datalink engineering experience is highly desired. Self motivator with ability to work as part of a team or independently. Demonstrated organization, presentation, documentation, and oral communications skills. Attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and effective communication and briefing abilities and interpersonal skills are necessary for success.

BS degree and 10 years experience, or MS and 8 years, or PhD and 4 years.
