Provide administrative support to a department and/or Manager. Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. The position is located at the National Guard Professional Education Center, Camp Joseph T. Robinson, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:¿ Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member. Meet and greet clients and visitors. ¿ Assist customers with operations of Kiosk and other computer/peripheral equipment¿ Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office. ¿ Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing. ¿ Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system. ¿ Perform mail distribution (incoming/outgoing) including U.S. Property and Fiscal Office (USP &FO).¿ Sign for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages. ¿ Research, price, and purchase office furniture and supplies. ¿ Setup and coordinate meetings and conferences. ¿ Assist Processing Specialist with processing applications via online, walk-ins, and mail-in applications.¿ Provide office orientation for new employees. ¿ Maintain and track Soldiers in utilizing internal Personnel Management database (Auto DP) and tracking System¿ Setup accommodation and entertainment arrangements for company visitors.¿ Attend conferences and represent ARNG Counseling Support Team when required¿ Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS ¿ Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. ¿ Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 50 wpm. This is normally acquired through one to three years of clerical experience. Desired Skills/Experience:¿Knowledge of ARNG personnel policies and procedures¿Experience in, or working with, the military service, preferably the Army National Guard, Army Reserves, or Active Army
