As a Technical Lead within the IBT Finance TLM Reconciliation team, you will be responsible for production support, design and implementation and user acceptance testing of end to end Reconciliation Technical solutions, including:

Design technology solutions to meet business requirements.

Acting as a key engineering resource within project teams.

Management of code development through offshore developers.

Technical implementations, including some weekend working.

Provide 3rd line technical support for incident management to assist with troubleshooting where expertise will lead to more rapid business resumption.

Work in partnership with other Technical Leads to define Recs technical architecture and strategy.

Ensure that all technology solutions are in alignment with the overall architecture roadmaps while adhering to companywide and engineering board standards.

Liaise with offshore software testers.

Liaise with in-house product specialists covering Unix, DBAs, Autosys, Websphere and MQ.

Keep current with industry trends including architecture design, emerging technologies and best practices.

Requirements Key skills should include at least two of the following;

UNIX

Database Administration

Java

The candidate will need to demonstrate:

Experience in at least two of the key skills.

Provide relevant experience in implementing application technology solutions.

Good team work as well as ability to be self motivated.

Proven record of creating technical solutions.

Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Pragmatic, rational, reasonable and professional

Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff

Energised by challenges and change

Where applicable, technical background should highlight where candidate has specific experience of the following:

Solaris

Korn Scripting

Oracle SQL

Oracle Database Design

General systems design experience

Websphere Web App design

Appache / Tomcat Web App design

Perl Programming

MQ networking

SSR & TLM reconciliations

Keon

ETrust

Autosys scheduling

NDM secure file transfer

Clearcase Configuration Management

Mainframe MVS

CICS
