Job Description:
Material handling duties include receipt, storage,inventory and shipment of various stock in accordance with established procedures or regulatory guidance (Haz Mat). May work in either an automated or non-automated warehouse or open storage area. May use automated equipment such as computer terminals, bar code wands, and laser scanning equipment to read, store, query, route, and track data. Operator must be able to obtain a MHE license and maintain proficiency to operate equipment. Must be familiar with the day to day operation and documents Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near warehouse.
Minimum Requirements:
THIS POSITION IS SUBJECT TO CONTRACT AWARDHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a thorough understanding of warehouse procedures, ability utilize automated equipment, inventory skills and posses excellent computer and number skills.
