Position Description:
The Fixed Income Production Management team provides direct day to day support and integration services for Electronic Trading, Pricing, Position, P&L, Risk and Settlements systems for the Commodities department globally with major centers in New York, London and Singapore. The business is a significant participant in all major commodities markets globally.

Members of the team provide real time support for all the systems throughout the day as well as assisting with application upgrades/deployment, general integration work and owns stability management across Commodities IT. The team works closely with the Commodities Development team to ensure a smooth delivery of services to the desk. The role involves direct interaction with the Traders, Sales, Operations and Controllers on all aspects of electronic trading, trade capture, risk management and settlements. Candidates should have an in-depth understanding of infrastructure, applications, and trade flow in the context of commodities or other markets.

Skills Required:
Be able to demonstrate strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux / Unix, Databases, Storage, Networking and Windows through hands on experience.

Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Good understanding of trading floor technology and business, or similar, ideally having spent time supporting front office applications or infrastructure.

Scripting skills are important, additional programming skills would be an added bonus.
