Job Responsibilities:
• Review and resolve title commitment exceptions in order to insure residential refinance transactions.
• Coordinate and Schedule refinance closing transaction.
• Prepare all escrow documents necessary for refinance closing transactions, handle disbursement, and follow up of all escrow transactions.
• Preparation and reconciliation of the HUD-1 Settlement Statement.
• Complete closing by recording and filing documents, distributing final closing statements and title.
• Handle high volume lender accounts.
• Communicates requirements and other information to clients including Title exceptions.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills a must to receive and respond to customer inquiries.
• Possess a strong knowledge of legal documents, escrow procedures for a national closing platform.
• Performs title examination of easy and/or moderate title orders requiring a moderate level of expertise.
• Examines the chain of title for orders of limited complexity.
• Prepares initial title commitment documentation based on the application of appropriate codes from the title code book.
Job Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of related Mortgage Escrow or Title experience.
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Respond promptly to customer needs.
• Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Respond to requests for service and assistance.
• Meet commitments and deadlines.
• Balance team and individual responsibilities.
