Staff Accountant

Description

RemX Specialty Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper to work for a growing local CPA firm.   Qualified candidate will provide bookkeeping, tax preparation and other services for the firm. 

Responsibilities 

  • Perform bookkeeping and payroll services for clients
  • Prepare sales tax returns for clients
  • Prepare trial balances depreciation schedules, etc.
  • Prepare tax work papers




Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  •  

    Associates’ degree in Business or Accounting preferred but not required

  •  

    A minimum of seven years of directly related professional experience

  •  

    Recent public accounting experience required

  •  

    QuickBooks Pro Advisor or equivalent QuickBooks knowledge

Pay is commensurate with experience.
