Job Description

Our client, a top interactive agency in Chicago is in need of a User Experience Architect.  This person is a vital part of the initial contextual inquiry into user needs and serves as a user advocate throughout the life of the project. This person will be responsible for integrating multiple user needs, business opportunities and technology capabilities into highly-intuitive experiences through a partnership with creative and technical team members. Stakeholder interview portion of the project will take place at the client’s location in Indianapolis, IN. Travel will be compensated.

 
Job Requirements
  • Stakeholder Interviews – Must be able to work autonomously to conduct formal and informal stakeholder interviews to determine and document business objectives and functional requirements
    • Research – Must be able to review existing website research and data as provided by the client and determine its relevance and impact to the website design. This includes the ability to break down an existing website into a current-state information architecture.
    • Beyond assessment of secondary research, the UXA should have experience advocating and conducting primary research.
    • Must be able to translate strategy, research findings and requirements into solid Sitemaps, Interaction Flows and Detailed Wireframes
    • Content Strategy – Ideal candidate would be able to assess, catalogue and organize web site content (content inventory) as well as advocate, assign and track new content development (content matrix). This person could work closely with a copywriter or editor if they are not capable of writing and editing content themselves. This person would develop, maintain and enforce editorial style guidelines.
