Description

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is currently seeking a Product Engineer for a direct hire opportunity located just outside of Madison, WI.

 

Responsibilities include designing, programming, engineering, and documenting new electronic scoreboard-related products.  This also includes updating existing scoreboard programs, developing customer programs for scoreboards, and developing electronic circuit board layouts.  This person will provide technical support to customers. 



  • Experience working with solar panels is required.
  • Troubleshoots faulty equipment by telephone to help resolve field problems.
  • Works with vendors/suppliers regarding product designs/manufacturing issues.
  • Executes the documentation necessary to get new designs implemented by manufacturing.
  • Tests new and custom scoreboard designs.
  • Assists in building new product prototypes which include design, microprocessor program testing and hardware board layouts.
  • Programs for custom scoreboards.
  • Provides and documents engineering changes, such as in Software, PCB, and Schematics.
  • Provides technical support for technicians.
  • Keeps current with changing electronics technology.
  • Updates circuit board layout and drawings for production to keep rework and costs down.
  • Qualified candidates will have a BS in Engineering or the equivalent.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.  Qualified candidates must be able to program microprocessors and design electronic circuit boards.  Should be familiar with sheet metal fabrication methods and limitations.
