Programmer Analyst

Description
General
- Analysis of business problems and computer programming using the IBM I-Series platform
- Create and maintain documentation of computer solutions
- Identify areas for efficiency improvement
- Develop written documentation of business processes
- Develop project plans to automate or improve a business process
- Write RPGLE (85%) and Dot Net programs to implement the project plans
- Uses the Problem Tracking software to document problems and solutions
- Works with members of all departments to design and implement business process solutions
- Works with IT staff to develop test plans and help solve operational issues
- Works with vendors to install and implement software products
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- At least five years of RPGLE, CL, and SQL programming experience AS/400 (iSeries) system API’s, SDA, SEU.
- At least one year of Dot Net three-tier development using Visual Studio 2005/2008.
- SQL Server 2000 procedures, functions, triggers, DDL, Java, Websphere 5.1/6.0, JSP/Servlets, Java Mail API’s, HTML, XML, VBScript, CVS source control
- Experience with Inventory Distribution, Financial, Warehousing, and EDI applications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage projects from beginning to end
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
