Job Summary:
This resource will be working along side the Director of Operations and CIO along with other technical and non-technical Project Leads. Ideally looking for someone that has a broad base of Infrastructure experience; someone that can look at the big picture, identify solutions, manage infrastructure resources and DRIVE strategy and projects. They will be responsible for both back-office infrastructure projects and new enterprise systems implementations. They will need to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent presentation/communication skills, highly motivated, go-getter, etc…
Description:
Seeking a highly motivated individual who will serve as a Senior Technology Manager for the Technology Services team. The candidate will be responsible for working with the technical team to develop strategies and architectures for back-office infrastructure as well as new systems implementations. Candidate will be expected to maintain an enterprise focus while developing solutions to meet the business needs.
In addition to the technology architecture responsibilities, the candidate will also be responsible for leading infrastructure focused projects. In this capacity, the candidate will be expected to develop architecture diagrams, statements of work, TCO/ROI models, project plans, resource plans, project budgets and status reports. The candidate will also be expected to mentor and manage the infrastructure team as the staff flexes to meet the demands of the business.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Candidate must have a broad base of experience leading projects across enterprise technologies including: server systems (midrange and mainframe), storage systems (SAN, NAS, tape), networking, IT Risk & Security, email, systems monitoring, operational process and procedures.
* Must have a strong understanding of systems hardware, operating systems, centralized management tools, backup and recovery and monitoring
* Minimum 6 years experience driving and managing infrastructure projects and staff within enterprise environment
* Ability to coordinate multiple project efforts simultaneously
* Candidate will be expected to utilize standard project management tools and methodologies.
* Proficient with Microsoft Project, Visio and PowerPoint for project management, status reporting, presentations and development of technical diagrams
