Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide analysis and support for all current production OptumHealth Care Solutions reporting on various platforms
• Provide user support on various reporting tools and outputs
• Provide analysis on requested maintenance and enhancement projects and provide recommendations for improvement to platforms, processes, reporting
• Participate in the development and implementation of effective business solutions through research, audit and analysis of data and/or business processes
• Define and document business and system processes
• Define and communicate system requirements
• Assist in determining needed resources
• Assist in establishing overall project plans
• Prepare project outline
• Accountable for reading and understanding all systems requirements within deliverable and providing valuable feedback to other analysts
• Track overall project plans
• Assist in data mapping
• Support design, considering business requirements and system limitations
• Recognize scope limitations and raise potential scope issues, while designing best systems approach
• Analyze business workflow and system needs for data conversions & migrations
• Responsible to project manage the tasks within a business/systems applications, including: problem resolution, software engineering standards and quality control standards
• Demonstrates leadership by coordinating the requirements, specifications, and design and testing efforts for small to large projects
• Possesses skills to manage junior level and peer team members at sub-project level
• Provides work direction, sets and monitors goals and workflow
• Responsible for providing feedback on junior level and peers performance

Requirements Qualifications:

• 3+ yrs experience working in a Business Analyst role
  
• 2+ yrs SAS or SQL programming experience
  
• 3+ yrs experience in meaningful data analysis and/or reporting
  
• Bachelors Degree
  

 Asset:

• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint
