UnitedHealth Group has submitted a proposal in response to the TriCare Managed Care Support Contract Solicitation (also known as the "T-3 Solicitation").  TriCare is the health care program serving active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, retirees, their families, survivors and certain former spouses.
 
As a potential government contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF85P.
 
Training Manager - Duluth, MN; Tampa, FL; Richardson, TX
 
Primary Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement a TRICARE Customer Service Training program consistent with the TRICARE Operations Manual
• Lead, coordinate and integrate the training efforts of all  Customer Service teams across the TRICARE program.
• Apply statistical techniques, when applicable, to measure quality and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce variation.
• Using industry best practices, identify and prioritize training opportunities and propose training improvement measures.
• Design, facilitate, train, and evaluate cross functional Customer Service programs.
• Train other team members in training methods.
• Establish and implement training programs necessary to ensure predictable execution and continuous improvement.
• Establish metrics for training control and reporting.
• Develop policies and procedures required to proactively execute training programs and establish a culture of continuous learning and professional developments.
• Establish and maintain a repository of training programs and materials.
• Assume other leadership roles, as required.
• Travel may be required to support client requirements.
• Other job related duties as assigned by the VP of Customer Service.

Requirements Qualifications:

• 5+ years of  management experience developing a wide variety of business or technical training programs
  
• 5+  years of healthcare industry business experience with a primary focus in billing, enrollment and call center training initiatives
  
  
• Demonstrated experience with training program development for Customer Service professionals, to include cross training and re-training  initiatives
  
  
  
• Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• TRICARE Program Expertise
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Visio or related tools.
• Experience establishing and implementing quality improvement and employee development  programs
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Experience working and thinking creatively in a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment with changing priorities and demanding deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Flexible self-starter and results oriented.
• Effective problem solving and analytical ability.
• Customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
