Assistant Director of Pharmacy

Requirements : The Assitant Director is responsible for all operations including establishing and maintaining policies and procedures, formulary updates, procuring medications and maintaining compliance with laws, rules, and standards. Manage staff of 6 FTE’s; reports to DOP. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required. Interprets physician prescriptions and medication orders for appropriateness. Acts as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel. Must have basic computer skills.

Graduate from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy program, and have current licensure from the State Board of Pharmacy.
